The Assist Group Names Tamara Watt Chief Sales and Marketing Officer

Tamara Watt has been appointed Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for The Assist Group. Beverly White Freedman, President and CEO of The Assist Group announced the appointment today.
Watt will be responsible for developing and overseeing sales and marketing initiatives for the company, which specializes in fully integrated clinical and financial disease management and claims resolution solutions.
"Tamara Watt comes to The Assist Group with a solid record of leadership, innovation and achievement in sales and marketing," says Freedman. "We are extremely pleased to have her on our team and expect her contribution to our company to be substantial."
Watt is the founder of Value Story, Inc., a health care and workers' compensation consulting company specializing in innovative growth and cost containment strategies. During more than ten years as President and Chief Sales Officer of the company, she assisted leading edge companies' address the challenges of ever escalating health care costs.
Prior to Value Story, she served as Vice President of Corporate Sales and Marketing at Matria Healthcare, as well as Vice President of Health Net COMP*24 where she created, implemented and launched California's leading managed workers' compensation program.
Watt has also held key executive positions at the Health Net Venture Group, Centinela Hospital Medical Center, D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles and Ketchum Advertising, as well as founding her own marketing consulting firm, Drawing Conclusions.
Watt holds an MBA from the UCLA Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Stanford University.
